Message forwarding allows you to forward a received inbound text messages to an e-mail address or mobile phone number of your choice. The benefits of this are that you can use your virtual number(link) to receive inbound messages, and forward them to your own mobile number, avoiding the need to give your mobile number out, and ensuring you receive all message whilst out of the office. This feature is ideal if using the virtual number as a customer services contact point, allowing you to manage which Email the inbound message is forwarded to. 
Message forwarding is free to use in conjunction with a Virtual Number. Forwarding to Email is free and to a mobile will incur an outbound message cost.
