Teenagers Love to Use SMS Text Messages Teenagers love their cellphones, I am sure if you asked them what their most prized possession is, or what they could not do without, they would say their cellphone. These are the ones the parents can still understand, these are the more complicated ones “later” “L8A”, “wants” is “1ts”, then with the longer words like “relationship” all the vowels are taken out, so in the end it is “rltnshp”. These are just a few of thousands of examples that are used as shortcuts for text messages. So in the end, it is quicker than a phone call! Cellphones have also caused complications at schools and many schools have banned the use of cellphones as some children have been caught using them in class and some have even cheated in tests by texting the answers to their friends.
